At bk designs we work enthusiastically on small and large projects for a wide range of print and media applications. Our static and dynamic maps feature high-level design and cartographic values, often including interactive graphics to explore underlying data that is complex and detailed.

While there are many modes for making maps dynamic and interactive we specialize in Flash renditions. These maps can be easily embedded in a website, they are highly customizable, they allow intuitive functionality such as zooming, scrolling, and mouse-over events and, importantly, they allow us to produce maps rich in cartographic features. We also make web-centric “mashup” maps that combine (mash) your spatial data with Google, Yahoo or Microsoft maps.

Our custom maps and graphics support a wide range of public and private, research and professional practice studies.  We also make custom maps and graphics for books and magazine display, for corporate and public presentation, and for litigation support.
